Geraint Dodd
Holyhead-born Dodd, who studied at Bangor Normal College and Leeds University, is a full time professional painter. He works in acrylics and mixed media, including collage and sprayed inks, and expresses feeling by exaggerating colour and manipulating form. The more abstract of his works utilise Celtic motifs and other cultural imagery, noteably native American.
Dodd's beautiful paintings originate from the memory of experiences within the landscape; if the land has a soul, he is exposing it.
