Emrys Art, who have three Art Shops and a Gallery in West Wales, are running their 4th Open this year. The judge is Aneurin Jones. At least one work from each artist will be shown in Carmarthen Library 30th May - 14th June. Winners and selected entries will then be shown in the Oriel Emrys Gallery, Haverfordwest 21st June - 12th July. First Prize is £500 worth of art materials, Second £200 worth and Third £130 worth. There are also prizes for children and young people, and a 'People's Prize' of £100 worth of materials decided by votes cast by the exhibition audience. Entry fee is £5 per item, which can be waived in return for stewarding the exhibition. Those delivering their work in person will receive a free canvas worth £4.50. Children's entries are free.
