John Lopez-Smith
After leaving college having trained as a textile designer, Lopez-Smith worked in the industry selling his own work on the textile market. His vibrant and arresting designs soon began to decorate the walls of designers throughout the world, so he switched direction to become a painter. His artwork forms the basis of his expression. These paintings are his ideas presented as an explosion of colour contained by sound drawing skills, and an unusual interest of line.
